CCUK submits software resilience consultation response

Last week, we submitted our response to DSIT’s call for evidence on software resilience and security for businesses and organisations.

We made the point that members are concerned about potential duplicated efforts arising from security legislation - particularly as there appears to be a mixture of a generalist approach being sought by the Government, in addition to sector-specific rules via the Telecommunications Security Regulations (TSRs).

We will continue to engage with Government, Ofcom and all relevant stakeholders to support members with their security and resilience.
