CCUK Chair Tracey Wright participated in APPG roundtable with UK Finance

Phil Brickell MP, member of the APPG on Anti-Corruption and Responsible Tax and APPG on Fair Banking, hosted a UK Finance member roundtable in July, exploring serious economic and personal impacts of fraud, as well as the positive steps that banks and payments companies are taking to help customers protect themselves.

Tracey Wright, the Chair of Comms Council UK contributed to the session, alongside Director of Public Affairs at UK Finance, Ben Ruffels; Director of Campaigns at UK Finance, Giles Mason; Director of Fraud at UK Finance; and Ruth Ray and Stephen Edwards, External Affairs Director at Which?

There was agreement on the need for closer, more ambitious collaboration across the public sector, law enforcement, financial services, technology and telecommunications sectors and consumer groups to detect and prevent fraud at source.
