Comms Council UK Awards launched on 8th February.

This year’s ceremony will take place on the 28th September at Tate Modern, the world-famous contemporary art gallery in the Bankside area of the London Borough of Southwark, and will be marking 15 years of the Comms Council UK Awards.

Every year, we continue to review and amend our Award categories to reflect the ever changing contributions from key industry players. There are nine categories this year, including one new category in the Best Industry Enabler and a revised category named the Best Comms Application.

The former focuses on companies operating throughout the supply chain to support the effective delivery of CP services, while also lowering barriers to entry and increasing speed to market. The latter intends to recognise the broad spectrum of software applications available on the market, whether that’s systems software or applications software.

As with previous years, all categories remain free to enter and are open to the whole of industry – including non-Comms Council UK members.

Eli Katz, who is the Chair of Comms Council UK, said: “We are thrilled to be launching this year’s Comms Council UK Awards, which continues to be a highlight in the industry diary.

“15 years of the Comms Council UK Awards is testimony to how our industry has become the mainstream in voice communications and other key services. The industry should be proud of how it has enabled UK businesses and consumers to adapt to the rapidly changing communications landscape”.

“I look forward to seeing many of you at the Awards this September, and urge as many of industry to enter as soon as possible.”

Tracey Wright, who is the Director of Magrathea, the principal sponsor of the 2023 Awards, said: “It’s always an honour and privilege to be sponsoring the Comms Council UK Awards, promoting the best in class within our vibrant sector.

“We cannot wait to return to the Tate Modern and hope to see a wide array of unique entrants from across industry. We know how many great services exist as well as exciting projects and innovations that have emerged. What better way to showcase these than by entering the Awards!”
