Jolyon Parsons, Ciptex

Jolyon brings over 15 years' experience in digital communications. In BT, with Accenture he built some of the first customer facing VOIP services. Jolyon setup one of the first Voice recognition voice betting services and in 2005 he co-founded Ciptex to deliver Cloud VOIP, and now a Preferred Partner of Twilio. He brings both commercial, technical and compliance experience, working with both UK and international Voice and Data providers, helping clients bridge the UK with communications in the rest of the world. His recent work includes delivering global humanitarian communications solutions. His team work closely with Manchester Metropolitan University, offering apprenticeship roles.

Jolyon brings links to the traditional Enterprise “PBX” reseller market, working with resellers supporting the transition to migrate telephony from on-site PBX to the cloud (CPaaS), now introducing live Video, WhatsApp and emerging AI solutions into contact centres. He is an active member of the “Worshipful Company of Information Technologists”, in the City of London, whose work includes support charities in the use of IT.
