Women in Telecoms first in-person meeting hosted at CCUK offices

Thank you to all those who attended the Comms Council UK’s first in-person Women in Telecoms group meeting yesterday, which took place at the Clarity office in London.

There was a great turnout at the event, where we heard interesting insights on the experiences and challenges of women working in the Telecom industry, and on what can be done to get more women into the industry.

There was also great discussion about the role of women in the workplace, with conversation centring on a range of topics including gender bias, leadership development, and imposter syndrome.

A big thank you to Katie Baron (Gamma) and Tracey Wright (Magrathea) for leading the discussion.

The event concluded with a networking drinks reception, kindly sponsored by Gamma and Magrathea.

Sign up to be a part of this group and join our regular online meetings and future in-person events by emailing team@commscouncil.uk.

Upcoming events include the Comms Council UK Awards on 28th September at the Tate Modern, and the annual Christmas lunch on 7th December. Tickets for the awards can be found here and for the Christmas lunch here.
