ICO survey on data sharing to prevent, detect and investigate scams and fraud

The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) is seeking feedback on its November 2024 advice on sharing personal information to combat scams and fraud. A short survey is open from 6 October 2025 until 23:59 GMT on 31 December 2025 and covers five sections: About your organisation, Awareness and engagement, Usefulness and clarity, Impact, and Suggestions for improvement.

Responses will inform an evaluation and future updates to the advice. Queries can be directed to digitalregulationcooperation@ico.org.uk or 0330 414 6051. The survey is hosted on Citizen Space by Delib, with responses used for statistical insights and high level qualitative themes rather than attributed publication.
