Government publishes Wireless Infrastructure Strategy

The Department for Science, Technology & Innovation (DSIT) has published its Wireless Infrastructure Strategy, outlining the importance of connectivity to the UK economy and society.

Of interest to Comms Council UK members, DSIT has stated that it would like to reduce regulatory barriers by ensuring net neutrality rules are fit for purpose, while looking to shape the next generation of mobile technology through investing up to £100 million in future telecoms research and development.
