SPOC/RIPA training and Investigatory Powers Act seminar with the College of Policing. The College of Policing, who work closely with the Home Office, provided regular induction courses for communications service providers on RIPA and CSPs’ responsibilities. Following excellent feedback on the sessions from ITSPA members, the College of Policing have agreed to put on a special session at our offices. Additionally, the session began with a presentation and Q&A from the Home Office on the new Investigatory Powers Act. This provided an update on the implementation of the Act following its recent passing into law.
